The bulletin board, that strategically hangs between my closet and full length mirror, is an essential part of my personal style. From magazine clippings to online editorial print-outs, I always collect trends, colors and ideas that strike me to use as inspiration while dressing and shopping. As seasons pass and styles progress, I am constantly updating my board so I am up-to-date with what I deem fashionable at the moment.
Just as people make grocery lists, I use a section of my board to compile items I want, but do not have (ie- chunky necklaces, platform sandals, acid-washed denim, etc, etc). Then, I am able to take mental notes. By doing this, while browsing boutiques, I already have an idea of how I can update my wardrobe with a few key pieces or am aware of vacancies in my closet.
