Spotlight Special: Gypsy 05 & Future Heretics Fashion Show at STYLE Fashion Week

Wednesday March 16, 2011, Gypsy 05 and Future Heretics presented their Fall/Winter 2011 Men’s and Women’s Collections at STYLE FASHION WEEK. The fashion shows took place at the newly-renovated 18th century Vibiana Cathedral downton Los Angeles. The event surrounding the boho-chic Gypsy 05 and super cool Future Heretics was superb, to say the least.

Upon arrival, guests mingled in the cathedral’s open garden courtyard, beautifully designed and furnished in all white furniture and lounge elements by Fendi Casa and Rrivre Works.  Duel open bars offered guava and lime alcoholic refreshments, all garnished with fresh tropical flower petals, while a pop-up Pinkberry stand dished out frozen yogurt with a plethora of topping options.

Inside, the cathedral boasted marble floors, baroque columns lining the nave, with a packed house full of buyers, stylists, publicists, celebrities and media. Jewelry in the show was provided by M. Cohen Desgins. As a special treat, IRIS by Cirque du Soleil performed a short, quirky number between the two shows.
