Spotlight Special: 7Stiches

Collaborating with women from all cultures and religions, 7 Stiches is super cool wearable art made to celebrate the unique stories of women, most of whom are refugees.  Designer Michal Mor’s goal is to deliver unique jewelry that integrates as many cultures and flavors as possible from all seven continents.  Each design is driven by a passion and belief that the universal language of color, shapes, and textures evoke feelings in each of us – and together they reflect the idea of beauty in unity.

Raw, natural materials purchased through fair trade partners around the world are stitched together into each piece tell a story.   Just a few of the materials used include: recycled glass from Indonesia, African beads, Colored Lava from Hawaii, 24 karat gold beads from Ghana, Afgahni beads, Bone from Kenya, Glass seed beads from Japan, Thai pompoms, Sono Wood from Bali, felt from Nepal and tassels from India.

7 Stiches will be dropping in Anthropologie soon. For more information on this rad brand check out the 7 Stiches website here!  Below are just a few of my favorite designs from the collection:
