Thanksgiving Style

While mapping out and gathering menu ingredients, finalizing travel plans, and scouring Pinterest for decor ideas {above}, it is officially that time of year when one holiday bleeds to another until we find ourselves in the midst of a new year and wonder… where did the time go so fast?!

So, it’s smart to start thinking about what you want to wear now… especially since Holidays are prime photo opportunities while everyone is together {whether it be with family, friends, or both}. The trick with Thanksgiving, unlike other holidays, is to look polished while staying comfortable with a full belly. What I have found works great is pairing a forgiving fall dress with black tights and boots with a slight chunky heel to balance the shorter hem of your dress.  You will be able to maneuver with ease, yet still look pulled together. If you are feeling zesty, a great way to take your outfit to the next level is to wear textured or patterned black tights. Below are 5 outfits that I have prepared for you based on the guidelines just stated, just add some holiday cheer and a warm spirit {or two}.
